- (Pt. 5)The central part of town viewed from the river. Several buildings are on the waterfront with a few boats docked alongside. These include from left to right: Canadian Pacific Navigation, Western Fuel, Brackman-Ker Milling, the City Market, and the Vancouver, Westminster and Yukon freight depot. Significant buildings from left to right include: the Dominion Trust Block (with the courthouse roof behind), the Carnegie Library (with a domed roof), the Dominion Building which housed the post office and Department of Fisheries (with three dormers), the City Hall and Fire Department (with a central peak), the High School (top of the hill), Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral, and the Premier Hotel (near the water). A number of houses are also visible.
