- The BC Commercial Travellers' Association War Dance and Carnival ran from May 2nd to 5th.
- Ballots were counted on April 20th for Miss Vancouver, Queen of the Carnival and the headquarters soon after were moved to the Cambie Grounds. This was taken in March or April at the 500 block of West Pender.
- Josie Siddons, the winner, is far left in the light hat; the one second right from her is Hattie Taynton of Birks. Marion Bonner (O. B. Allan) is in a light coloured coat and holding a bouquet. The one right of centre in a light skirt and dark coat is fourth runner-up Ethel Hollis Morris of Tod and Manning.
