Abstract: Harv was a charismatic and generous man who touched the lives of may. He worked for Bird Construction, starting as an estimator and ultimately as Vice President, he was involved with building the Interprovincial Pipeline with Lockerbie and Hole in the 1950s; the Kaiser Coal Project in Crow's Nest Pass and building Pacific Centre in Vancouver. With his friend John Latta, he started the first ginseng farm in Western Canada.
